This is my second time participating in the Swissotel Vertical Marathon. Although the atmosphere was better last year, I felt better this year probably because I knew what to expect and this was my second time. Second time is usually better than the first. :D When:  23 Nov 2014 Where:  Swissôtel The Stamford Cost:  $52 (early bird) with 10% discount for DBS/POSB card holders - Price has increased On the race pack collection day: I went at 11am. There was no queue and everything was smooth. I got a bag with my race bib, the tag for my shoes, a magazine, tee-shirt, a race pack with lots of flyers. No Milo this time. On the race day: It was pretty the same as the last time. Up the stairs to the top. 73 Storeys, and a medal is waiting for you at the top. Stunning views but wish it wasn't so sunny. haha. This is the first Garfield run in Singapore. I joined the 3km which was rather short but fun. Yes, Garfield was there. As the run was short, everything ended very quickly. When: 19 Jul 2014 Where: The Promontory @ Marina Bay Cost:  $38 for 3KM Fun Run On the race pack collection day: Everything was smooth. Waiting time wasn't long.  You get a orange draw string bag, which consists of - A Garfield Run shirt - Race Bib - Some flyers and Race Information On   the race day: The venue was easy to locate. Just alight at Raffles Place MRT and follow the signs.  3KM was quite short. The first flag off was at 6:30pm and we reach back at around 7pm.  There was a Milo Truck, lots of people were queuing for it, as usual. It is Singapore's fav drink.  Somewhere around the 1.5KM mark, there is a water point - Aquarius isotonic drink was served. After the race is completed, they give you a medal, a bottle of mineral water, and a packet of pop corn. The limited edition Garfi
