Finding a Job in Singapore: Job Portal
It has been a long time since I have updated my blog of the job portals.
The last time I updated was in 2009 here.
Well many things have changed, here are some of the places you can look for jobs, job portals and more.
Job Portals
- MyCareersFuture - this is the official government job portal cater to Singaporeans and PR. You can also find the salary range of some of the jobs, which is useful, if you want to know if you are being paid adequately. If not of course, you can want to consider a switch.
- Jobstreet - this is one of the long standing job portals in Singapore. It has been around for many years and you can find jobs of many big companies listed here.
- JobsDB - this is another long standing job portal which has presence not just in Singapore, but in countries like Hong Kong and Thailand.
- FastJobs - this job portal is for those who want to look for part time, temporary, freelance jobs. So if you are looking for data entry, baristas, admin etc here is the place to go.
- GrabJobs - this job portal doesn't seem associated to the Grab company where you can Grab Car and Grab Food, but nevertheless it is a place where you can find many kinds of non-executive jobs and part time jobs.
Social Media Sites
- LinkedIn - This is one of the most popular social networking job portal out there now, many of my friends (including me) have found jobs here.
- Facebook - In Facebook there is a Facebook Job portal, as well as several Groups of communities listed below
- Singapore Jobs For Hire (Full time, part time, freelancer)
- Part-Time/Full-Time Jobs in Singapore
- Singapore Job Hunters
- TikTok - This is one of the most popular video sharing social networking site around, and some have been posting their CVs in video forms here, hoping to attract prospective employers.
